Slow 5G speed for the past week or so

Hi, I have been with PM for about 2 months with the 50GB CAN-US plan and the first month was amazing, 5G speed was impressive. About a week or so, I noticed PM 5G speed has deteriorated...it used to be >200MBps and now it can barely hit 20MBps in those same areas. Has anyone noticed this? You can easily tell when using IG,  buffering is happening more often now. Thanks

That is my bad..it should be Mbps...but I wonder how many speedtest sites/app use MBps to measure speed? My point is, the real life experience of the 5G speed has deteriorated and I am just asking the community if anyone has experienced it as well.

If an app of website is reporting a speed testing result of 20 MBps, that is actual 160Mbps.  The small case or capital B makes a large difference (by a factor of 8x).

Hi @slusagm I tried resetting the network and then flipped it to 4GLTE, still slow. Tried turning on/off airplane mode, still slow. I checked my daughters PM phone (hers is iphone and mine is S24) and they both are slow, used to be very fast a few weeks ago.

did you get the same slow speed everywhere?

On your phone, Reset network settings and test speed again

And also connect to 4G or LTE network, you can get 5G speed still even on 4G LTE network, maybe it has better 4G network where you are at
