My phone got wet and is now fried. I have a new phone but it is not compatable for esim. Somehow i got charged for an esim, and for a sim card that never arrived. You cant use the existing sim card with a new phone. Is that correct? So where is my sim card that i ordered a month ago? And please refund the esim.

Hello @JillHuston
I just want to make sure I have this correct because you have gone in a few different directions.
Your phone now, the wet fried one, has an eSIM? You bought a new phone but it's not eSIM compatible but you paid for another eSIM but PM mailed a physical SIM card and you never got it. Does this sound correct?
I wondered the same thing...BUT... he asks the question " you can't use existing sim card with a new phone". Made me think he had a hard sim in old phone, but ordered esim and hard sim.

You can switch a physical sim card from an old to a new phone but you can't transfer an esim to a new phone. So you don't need a new physical sim unless the old one was damaged or lost.

sim card deliver could take long, like 3 weeks. You can ask PM for a refund and ask them to let you buy one from Telus or Koodo store so you don't have to wait for another delivery
