As mentioned in my earlier post, Public mobile billing is not considered a recurring payment for credit card billing purposes. Public mobile charges are categorized differently. Nothing can be done on your part and Public mobile is unlikely to change its billing procedures. Several customers have asked in the past, but unfortunately, nothing can be done to change this at the present time.

@JesseXW Yes because PM is every 30 days not monthly so the bank doesn’t see it as a reacurring payments that’s eligible for points back on the card itself unfortunately like it would with Telus that’s monthly . But no worries you have auto pay set up

@JesseXW the recurring setup is only on PM side, and not on the Credit card side. PM payment is not treated as recurring payment and won't be eligible for those special recurring bonus cash back/point as PM uses a different code to post payments to credit card. Many asked before and confirmed that already 😞

Hi Handy1, I did the way as you mentioned. But my credit card statement shows it as non-recurring payment.

If you a new customer who just activated, you automatically signed up for pre-authorized payments. You are subscribed to a subscription, which means preauthorized payments every 30 days.
However, for credit card purposes, Public mobile is not deemed a reoccurring payment for different reward programs.

@JesseXW It’s automatically set up on your credit card when you activate log into your account to ensure it’s enabled
