SMS not coming to my new cell.

I got the number and can receive calls, but not the sms messages.  Not sure what is wrong.

do you see the phone connected to PM network?

make sure the old sim card is removed, or old eSIM is disabled, try Reset network settings

if still no data , no call, it is a sim or account setup problem, you need to ask PM support agent to help and check

I don’t have cellular data either.  I have tried resetting the cellular network and turning the device off/on.  Nothing.  Pls help.

@GillianSuwala If you are still having issues, check in with your previous provider to see if your number successfully ported over. You should not get any signal on the old carrier sim. Porting takes about a few hours. You can try rebooting your phone after a few hours of porting in and see if everything is working properly including calling. If you have issues with Texting and using iPhone, there might be an issue with iMessage that you need to troubleshoot.

Yes.  And they are now sending me an sms that does not arrive.

Try Reset Network Settings on your phone 

And if iPhone, go to Settings to remove your number , reboot phone and go back to the same screen to enter the phone number back
