SIM for 5G offered in offer not received

ON you Dec. offer I upgraded my service To 40 Gb. 5G.  The offer stated I would receive a new SIM for 5G.  I haven't received a SIM or an direction on how to  acquire the offered SIM!

@DarrellAdams   The phone should still be able to get good speeds on LTE on a 5G plan.  My phone is 5G capable and on a 5G plan but most of the time it stays on LTE and can get well over the 100Mbps PM 4G speed limit.  Have you done a speed test?

I have since found out that Public Mobile doesn't support Galaxy S20 LE 5G phones, along with many other models of 5G phones.  Nice if people were informed some ware on the Public Mobile  sight!

what phone do you have? maybe you don't have a 5G phone?

but on 4G , if you have the 5G plan, you will get 5G speed on 4G phone still

I have tried rebooting the phone etc. with no success. In settings - Mobile networks, I get Network mode - LTE/WCDMA/GSM, NO 5G any ware

As per @Phil_Adelphus as you said you upgraded to a new plan, you don't need to new SIM card as there are no such things as 5G SIM cards. Just reboot your phone and you should be on the new plan. If you do get a SIM in the mail, just hold on to it as a back up card.

@DarrellAdams   You don't need a new  sim to upgrade from 4G to 5G, you presumably have an existing PM sim that works?  Since you're an existing customer I don't think PM would automatically send you a new sim for an upgrade.

Sim card delivery from PM online varies from 3 days to as many as 3 weeks

If it has been over 10 business days, you can open ticket with PM support to confirm if they got the order and if the sim card is on the way.  They might offer to resend you another one or ask you to buy one form local Telus/Koodo/MobileKlink store and reimburse you the extra cost
