Received a text from Public Mobile for a promotion but not sure how it works

Hi,
I am on a $25 plan (1GB at 3G speed data pls unlimited country-wide calling/text). Today I received a text message offering me 15GB 4G speed data for $26/month. I must say I am very interested but not sure if this offer is for data only (i.e, an add-on), or it will replace my current plan so I will get 15GB 4G data pls unlimited calling/text - all for $26/month?

Yea those offers you got are not that great.

You are correct. I don't believe most people really need all that data.

What makes it sounds good is that the basic plans at 15 and $25 are actually more expensive than these offers that are being made.

I paid 15$ for 250 MB and 100 minutes for 5 years!! Thinking about it now makes me so 😡.  

So going from 15$ 250 mb 100 minutes to 24$ for 4GB unlimited minutes,  sounds like a no brainer to me.

Looking for offers I received so far in 2024:
1. Jan 12. - 4GB/4G/$24
2. Feb 16. - 5GB/4G/$24
I guess Mar. xx will be 6GB, Apr xx - 7GB, etc. 😋🤣

No 15GB for me but no amount of GB will entice me to change my lowly plan. I do not know what you guys are using your GB for but I still prefer nice, BIG laptop/PC screen for any massive GB consumption.
What I would like to see as an offer is $10/30 days for basic phone and unlimited SMS. Fat chance, though...

it won't affect your current rewards discount, ie, you can change plan and still enjoy $6 off regardless of the plan you choose

So, if you get the offer, say yes.

I wanted to check how much my older plan will change. I'm currently on the 1024 MB at 3G Speed plan with a $6.00 reduction due to loyalty points. (Refer a friend, Pre-authorized payments and loyalty pays.)
Will those points be taken away if I sign up for the new offer? I mean, it's a great deal either way, but I'd like to know.

I received this too, I immediately took the offer as I am currently on the same plan as yours. But you’re right, I wasn't sure if it was an add-on or a total plan. Nevertheless, I just accepted it.

I got the same text for the $29/10gb plan last month and got this offer today. From the previous upgrade it's a subscription plan change and not an add-on or data only plan. I took this deal immediately.

Yes, same thing. Right now you are paying 25$ and only have 1GB. They are offering you 14 GB more for only 1$.

Even if you don't need the 15GB, the offer is good because you are paying the same amount of money now BUT for only 1GB.
