I thought I was purchasing a US Roaming add on, but it turned out it wasn't US Roaming. Is there a way to get a refund?

You could get refund if you made mistake and didn't use it. 

Contact PM customer service to require refund,  click here

You can ask agent nicely explaining your mistake and ask him to provide refund or most likely to add funds to your account to be used on next renewal.

Yes, if it is an honest mistake and the addon was not used, PM support will usually reverse the transaction and put the fund back to your My Account and you can repurchase the correct one

 

Please open ticket with PM Support

1. If you have access to My account: At https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", Then click "Other", then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" 

2. If you don't have access to My Account or have trouble with Chatbot: Private message CS Agent at:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply to you there

 

 

A reminder, US roaming has a 10 days, 240 hours, expiry and it will kick in once the purchase is completed.  So, buy when you really need it, not buy ahead of your trip
