Public Mobile outside Canada

I was on vacation in France and calling / messaging was disabled.

Is this a normal thing? Do I need an add-on  to have it working outside Canada?

Thank you again.

The problem is that I need my Canadian number to get verification codes from my bank and for my work.

I can check if I can set an alternative number but I doub it.

another option is to download free TextNow app. Using wifi, you'll be able to make / rec calls from most any US or Cdn number...as well as text. All for gratis.

Only in the US. Public does not work anywhere else in the world other than here and the US.

@orelero2  Sorry PM won’t work in France , just Canada and the US with US roaming add on . Next time just get local SIM card when over seas
