If your phone supports eSIM, you can download Public Mobile app and create an account, select a plan and opt for transferring your number. Took me less than 5 minutes from account creation to transferring my number over on my android.
If you need a physical SIM, then you can pick up from locations as specified on Public Mobile website.

@ANTRAN1 If you’re looking to port Koodo pre paid into PM . You need to first create a PM account activating a sim with a temp phone number from PM . Then contact support to port the number over to PM for you

Are you wanting to port it to Public Mobile or elsewhere?
If you want to port your number, try this link to confirm you can.
https://secure.koodomobile.com/checktransfereligibilityparrot/default.do
If you can, first you want to purchase a SIM card. If you haven't purchased one yet, check out Amazon as they are on sale. Here's the link. Amazon $4.99
If you already have a card, sign up for an account at publicmobile.ca
Because the new website has a 2FA system, it will ask you to enter 6 digits that were sent to your phone. Ignore that option and click on Didn't get Code? Then the option of sending the code to the email you signed up with. Click on that. Then when you get the email, do NOT cut and paste. Enter the code individually.
Pick whatever kind of account you want. There is an option there to port your number. Enter your information into it. HOWEVER, do not remove your Koodo SIM card yet. You MAY require to receive a text asking you permission to port. You will need to reply with YES. Then wait till you no longer see Koodo at the top of your phone. Once it's gone, try making a call. If you can't, the port has gone through. Now enter your Public Mobile SIM card into to your phone and reboot. You should be good to go.
