Hi, I bought a phone through bell but returned it and wanted to come back to PM so they canceled my services from bell but now my sim is not working at all. They said it will come back to the previous provider or be lost. My number is very important. How to start it again. Please help.

This is 110% true.
TICKETS get priority as they can be assigned and tracked and multiple agents can work on it until issue is resolved. Talking from personal experience.
To Contact CSA-agent; there are 2 methods:
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/contact-an-agent
Ticket has to be opened through chatbot - https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
Having a ticket is preferred way to contact agent as they might respond faster then receiving personal mail.
If ticketing does not work very first time, contact agent directly.
- Send a private message to the CSA - agent by clicking (Ctrl+)Here

Did you port over to Bell from here when you got the new phone? Did you start up here with a new number or did you port in to here too once upon a time?
But it sounds like you're caught in a no-mans-land with the cancellation of the Bell plan. Perhaps it would have been preferred to port out before returning the phone. Can't Bell give you an active account without a phone attached to it?

If bell cancelled your plan without you porting out you may have lost your number. Did you get the number from PM or any part of the Telus family originally? If you did you may be in luck. You will need a new SIM to activate and if you can't port your number from Bell you will need to take a new number temporarily and then contac the CSA by creating a trouble ticket and asking for your old number back.
If you number was from another provider you would have to go to them to try and get the number by setting up an account with them.

@Sourabh19 @If the number originated from public mobile you would have to reach out to support to see if they can assign the number back to you also if you still have an account you can check for the number and nap it back that way
