Pixel 7 keeps switching to 3G

Ever since I switched to Public Mobile from Koodo, my Pixel 7 keeps switching from 5G down to "H" or "H+", seemingly at random. When there is not a good a 5G connection, I would expect it to drop down to 4G/LTE, not 3G. Is this a known issue and is there a way to fix this?

For reference, I'm running the latest stable version of Android 14 (UQ1A.231205.015).

No. It seems to maybe drop down to 3G when out of good 5G range, but then it stays stuck on 3G.

@hmnd   Is it mainly when you are making phone calls?

it is like a device issue, you might want to test the PM sim in another phone

Or you can ask support to re-provision you sim, message them here

if sim re-provision still not help, you might want to Wipe your phone and setup again. Yes it is tough, but worth the try if nothing helps

@hmnd  Maybe resetting your network settings . And update carrier settings if needed . And reboot the phone see if that helps
