But I can call them. When they call, they are getting somebody else and the texts are going to never, never land. Please fix this problem.

Did you recently ported your old number over to PM?
If you did, did you reply to the text confirming you are porting over to PM with YES with the old SIM in your phone?
There is a 90 minute window to reply or porting will be in limbo and you need to contact a CS_Agent to restart the porting process for you.

HI @vjschwantz did you just activate and picked a new number
if that is the case, you might need to change to a different number. It is a glitch that PM sometimes give out number others already owned for new account.
Please login to My Account and change new number if you just got this number from activation

Also, can you use Mobile data?
login to My Account using Incognito mode and confirm if you account status is Active
If showing active, Try reboot your phone once
Also, does the phone shows connected to PM network?
you tested your phone in different area and see if you got the same result?
