If approved by the CRTC, how will the passing on to the customer $2.00 charge for using a credit card to pay, affect Public Mobile. Credit card use as we know is encouraged on Public Mobile.

TBD, but i very much doubt this would apply to PM, being that it's prepaid. I'm sure that charge would be to go after post-paid customers who have the option to pay from their bank accounts. For PM the only payment options are credit card or voucher, and i very much doubt PM will want to discourage auto pay and encourage us to have to go buy vouchers (which you could use a credit card for anyway).

Telus Mobile
and or
Telus Home services?
I would think that before the CTRC decides, they would want to see a few other options of paying so customers could avoid the “money grab”.

There are no overages, extra billing or fees at public mobile.

@jmcferg No effect for now, it's only a request for Telus.
It might come down to Koodo and PM eventually, but no one knows.
Telus's discount flanker brands including Koodo and Public Mobile will not be subject to the fee, nor will customers in Quebec.
