I just did an Activation, thankfully for an actual friend today otherwise this situation would be alot more dire..
Someone came to switch to Public Mobile, however they didn't have money on their card at the moment and asked to pay for the first month in Cash, which is no problem by me.. so I used my Credit Card/Postal Code during Activation, after setup I'd planned on updating the card to hers so she can pick up payment next Cycle when she has money on her card.
However, it would not recognize her card.. I know this is a common issue, so temporarily I tried updating it to a Pre-Paid Vanilla Mastercard Gift Card with $0 left on it so that my card isn't registered on her Account and it also failed to accept that one, when I've literally used that for Public Payment in the past, sure it's empty now but it should still register..
I tried updating the Address in Account Settings and made sure that the Postal Code and Billing Address were the same, but obviously that wasn't the issue..
She just left, and my card is still registered on her account. Until this is sorted, she is going to have to use Vouchers.. I trust this friend so I'm not the most worried, but why won't it let me change the credit card on her account and what are my next steps to have this resolved?
I also noticed after activation in the App, it was showing next month's bill with Ontario Taxes, we are in Manitoba to it's saying she is in Ontario.. I haven't tried on the website but maybe I would have more sucess there when trying to update the card.. I'm assuming it's because it's auto putting her in Ontario, when we are in Manitoba making a Credit card with Manitoba Billing Address not work? (In account settings it still says Winnipeg MB for the address, but it's like the location of her phone thinks it's in ON.)

It's also a 204 phone number which I ported in.

@Priority - you mentioned that you are in Manitoba, but where does the area code of the selected phone number (or transferred phone number) normally come from?

Yes it charged the correct Tax during the Activation.

@Priority there are unusual high number of payment issue or update CC card issue today, so it looks like a system problem
with your tax issue, so, it was charging the proper tax in activation and just showing wrong tax in upcoming bill?
