Sim Card Activation - data plan starts when?

I just receive my new sim card a few days ago.

I am not ready to activate it, but I paid for the first month data plan.  Does my plan start on the day I activated my account or the date of  when I did the payment of the plan with sim card?

@Levisbis It starts the day you finish activation of the account. You can order and pay anytime, but the counter only starts when you activate.
