Hi!
Last month I made the switch to a 5g subscription with 35g of data - as it turns out, I don't need that much and want to drop back down to a lower-cost subscription; but on my Account page, I'm only offered 5g subscriptions, of which I'm in the cheapest option already. I'm fine going back to 4G but it seems I can't because they're not even offering it to me to choose from. Am I missing something??

You can change your plan to plans available on your account ONLY!
If desired plan is NOT visible on your account that means it is NOT available to you and even talking to agent you cannot get it.
Some plans are available to NEW customers only and sometimes some nice plans are offered to existing customers.
In most (all) cases downgrading plan is NOT possible so to get cheaper plan will involve closing current account, losing number and subscribing again (+ cost of new SIM).

@sarahrom007 - Public Mobile limits plan selection. So if you are paying more than the plan you would like to move to, you would probably not see it, but you can continually check to see for a possible lower cost deal.
If you want to go around this, you can do it by:
You could try asking an agent thru expert messaging if they can force an immediate plan change (so I would suggest waiting it out because you won't get a refund for the remainder of your plan's duration)
https://expert-messaging.publicmobile.ca/guest/pre-chat They respond from 30 mins to a few hours. Check your email or phone for SMS updates. For this request, you will need to make sure you are logged into your same email as when you created your Public Mobile Account. They work from 9am EST to 10pm EST, 7 days a week.

hi @sarahrom007 downgrade is harder but not impossible. You just have to keep checking. And if you see a cheaper plan, even not the one you want, change to it first. After you changed to a cheaper one, you might see another even cheaper plan
