Hello, I have been having the trouble a a few month since started the service with here.
i can’t send or receive text messages

No Fido SIM card nor eSIM card!!!

make sure you removed your Fido SIM card, or disable Fido eSIM, then perform another Reset network settings after a device reboot

can you receive incoming calls after removing Fido sim and have PM sim alone?
I think you need PM agent to sort it out

I removed the old card and inserted new public mobile sim card. I got messages from Fido to request a yes to make the transfer. But seems that i never receive welcome messages from public mobile

It was working fine with Fido. It’s an iPhone. I can’t call and receive calls but just the regular text messages are not working!!! Pls help

some descriptions would help. What make / model is your cell ? Did messages work fine with previous network ?
Please try a network reset to see if that helps.

you removed the old sim cad/esim?
if you have android, try clear data of the Messaging app, or even uninstall and reinstall Google Message
