PM is on the Telus network, right? So it should have this widest-coverage-in-Canada thing.
Arden,ON is about 50km west of Perth and about 2km south of hwy7. 4g works fine at the hwy7 exit near Arden, but it's a dead zone inside Arden. 0 bars, not even HSPA.
Is there any feedback mechanism available to inform PM/Telus where their weak spots are?

4g telus coverage
3g telus coverage. I think you may be right. I'll try to force it to 3G-WCDMA only and see what happens.

Well that does make it confusing. Sold in California, but shipped from Taiwan.

@JohnSmith1 if it is a US version, it should be version B or C and not A. I think version A is Asian model.

Is A/B/C correlated someplace to SN or other ID? I have two more version tags here: ASUS_Z01RD, and zs620kl.

@JohnSmith1 Your phone Asus Zenfone 5z has different version of it, Version A/B/C
You should have no problem on 3G
But for LTE, if you have version A, you will have a much weaker connection to PM network. If yours is a version B or C, you should be good with LTE

Coverage map doesn't account for the large swaths of dead zone on hwy7 between Kaladar and Maberly. I consistently can't use data at the rest stop at Silver Lake.

I'll try the 3g-only and see what happens. Will update after I get a chance to try again.

It may always be like that. I'm not sure. I just know I would like to at least get a squeak of 3g service when I'm not that far from civilization, especially when full 4g is just a couple km up the road. Deadzone is likely, and annoying.
My phone is Asus Zenfone 5z.

HI @JohnSmith1 do you never have the service there?
According to both PM and Bell coverage map, there is server in Arden, ON

You can always check for service outages here:
https://www.telus.com/en/nt/outages?linktype=ge-footer
Is this something new you experience or it was always like that? It could temporary outage too small to be reported.
You can always contact agent to let them know.

@JohnSmith1 Yes, PM is on Telus network. And also uses Bell towers.
Checking here in outages in your area:
https://www.telus.com/en/on/outages
there is currently nothing reported. Unless you are the first...
Dead zones are possible.
If you select the 3G / WCDMA ONLY network in your Mobile Connections area in your settings (temporarily), does that help?

@JohnSmith1 I guess it is always like that?
