No incoming calls

I’m so frustrated.

Now I’m not getting any incoming calls at all.

First, I couldn’t make outgoing calls, that was resolved.

I still can’t make International calls to USA, despite, having minutes etc..,

and now I’m not getting any incoming calls.

Please help me.

@robinbird it should not flip back to 5G.  What phone do you have? brand and model?

I can choose 3G but it will not stay on as a choice. It keeps flipping back to 5G.

>My phone will not stay on 5G

@robinbird this is good.  PM has no 5G.  And in fact, choosing 5G might cause problems

Try VoLTE or try to change to 3G only on the device

@robinbird

So when you turn of 'automatic' network selection, can you not choose to manually connect to 4G/LTE?

It should be an option to select... i might think.

If iPhone, it might be under Cellular ➡️ Cellular Data Options➡️Voice & Data.   Mine displays 5G On, 5G Auto, and LTE on my device (granted, it's not the one with PM service)

My Android is under Connections➡️Mobile networks➡️Network mode (it's the one with PM service)

My phone will not stay on 5G.

Then can you leave it just on 4G/LTE? (which should include being able to do any necessary switchdowns)

There's no 5G here so there's no point in the phone trying to get something that it can't.

My phone won’t switch to 3G. I switch to it but it won’t stay on 3G and switches back to 5G immediately.

@robinbird , maybe your calling function is affected by VoLTE related problems.  Try switching preferred network type to 3G.  That might help for phone calls.

First, try resetting network connections, and toggling airplane mode on and off or rebooting your device.

If none of this works, try your public mobile SIM card in another device for awhile and see if calls work.

If that doesn’t help, contact customer support agent, as perhaps a reprovision of the account may.
