New sim card - i cant login or have signal :(

Hi, today i got a sim card from walmart - did the self sevice actiation with a voucher code 

everything seemed fine troughout the process - but i get no signal, i can't log in and when i tried to use the password reset tool it says "Sorry, we’re unable to verify your email address."
but i got a confirmation email to this mail adress 🤔

What message are you getting when you attempt to login (not reset) in to your self-serve account?


"Sorry, your login attempt failed. Please try again. "


Can you try to login using incognito mode on the browser to sée if it works If not, the  you need to contact the moderator for help.

@wummi To send a private message to the moderators click hereResponse time is usually between 1 to 48 hours, but they've been extremely busy.  

 

Moderator hours:

Weekdays 8am to 12am (eastern time)

Weekends 8am to 10pm (eastern time)

I realize that, but to contact the moderators and get a reply to reset your pw coud take a while.  If you're sure you're entering everything correctly, then accessing your account to try a few ideas is not an option. 

 

Do you have another phone to try the SIM card in?

Do you have another SIM card (different carrier from friend or family) that you could try in your phone?


i just tried it with another phone, same issue

also my home sims work in both phones


What is the make and model of your phone?

Resetting the password can only be done by the moderators, please send a private message to Moderator_Team and explain your situation.  Hopefully they'll get back to soon but there seems to be quite a delay getting a response because of glitch in the system.

Response time usually can be couple of hours or even upto 2 days so the sooner you send a message the better.

Power down your phone remove the sim. Wait for a couple of minutes insert the sim card and power up your phone. Any change?


i tried this, i even swapped to the other sim slot - no change

i have an android phone and it just says "no service" - the signal bars are grayed out 
in the settings it recognizes the sim as TELUS...

Did you pick a new number or are you porting your number from another provider? DId you restart your phone?
