I've paid for 2 phones for grandchildren. I'm going to cancel the account, not paying any longer now they are young adults. Can they create an account but keep their old number.

If they want to keep same number and service with PM you just have to change credit card number so THEY pay for the service. Everything will stay the same (service, plan, etc.).
Otherwise you cannot transfer PM number from one account to another.

HI @SusanMabie
no, you cannot move a number from one PM account to another
however, PM is a preapid provider and it is easy to pass the account to your grandchildren. All you need to do is to update the credit card number, and go to Profile ->Manage Eversafe ID and update the login email address to your grandchildren's
