I have seen so many new subscribers posting that they are having problems with SMS and MMS. On Reddit, some people say they have had success by changing their APN setting to all caps (SP.MB.COM) even though Public Mobile’s instructions show it in lower case.
Do knowledgeable long-term Community members here know if this the case?

Thanks anyway but I am not having this problem. Just wondering if what I saw on Reddit would help those who are.

@colleeno The APN fix is for phones that were affected by the Telus MMS change in mid-February and it affected existing members as well as new. The all caps suggestion seemed to be needed for OnePlus phones in particular. The new SMS technical problem for (only?) new members, is something different and just needs for people to submit a ticket to customer service to fix it.

hi @colleeno no, it is not APN, it is just PM has trouble with setting up text for new accounts, please ask agent to fix your account first
