Just checked in my accounts on the app and both were eligible for 50% off the 100GB plan for 2 years that is showing for new activations only. Once you select "change on renewal" the next screen shows the discount. I took screenshots of both as proof. 100GB for $20??????? Crazy!!!!!

my renewal date is tomorrow, Jan 27, though the popup on the confirmation page showed the payment will be taken out January 26 , which they haven't taken it out yet.

Since the wording says it’s for new customers, and not new plans/accounts, I’d check the policy beforehand. Sometimes, in the terms & conditions, it will define and state a time period that must pass until you are considered a “new customer” again after leaving. A customer would be defined as the individual signing up.

You could consider porting out to a bare bones minimum cost provider and then porting back to a new PM plan.

Unfortunately, the only offers I’ve seen are for new customers. I’ve been with Public Mobile for 1.5 yrs now, and have never received a better offer from them. Actually, my benefits were reduced with the Rewards Points change in October 2025, which dropped from 2.5% to a whopping 1%. 😢 Hopefully seeing feedback such as this will help Public Mobile make attractive offers to ensure they can retain existing customers, and not just focus on earning new customers only.

@Joshf800 Public mobile does offer existing customers better plans at time usually sept Black Friday and x mas time I was this last Black Friday to down grade from $35 75GB plan to $30 30 GB plan so you just have to keep an eye out these offers come and go quickly

I submitted a ticket before C/S opened today. After 6 hours of silence I submitted a DM to them quoting the ticket number and the issue. Still deafening silence. Has anyone experienced short/normal wait times today?

Yeah thanks for the reply wish I would of got in on the glitch yesterday where people got the plan im on for half price so 20 a month for 2 years then back to the 40 after that. But im hoping public will offer loyal customers extra savings once in a while and not always just new customers. That was the main reason i left sasktel, was with them my whole life and never received one loyal customer offer and was paying through the roof, hopefully these guys are differnet

@Joshf800 The fact that the 50% off is only for two years your plan will still be cheaper in that time so to me is still better plan . And that on top of the fact that it’s harder to downgrade plans these days you would have harder time in two years to get better deal then your currently have

I have been trying to get the 50% off on my plan but it is not showing up has anyone been able to get public mobile to honor this?

So I'm on the $18 plan. The $40/100 plan is showing for me. I clicked change on Renewal and it didn't show any discounts. Everything was normal, no discounts showing. I went through the process and it still showed $40. The Cancel upcoming tab which usually doesn't show up for several days after was there so I canceled the change.

@kb_mv Yea you make a good point , but I’m still reluctant to test the waters like I said I only can possibly save $5 a month so $120 over 2 years and then be stuck in higher priced plan after the 2 years is up with no opportunity to downgrade plan price again in sept Black Friday or x mas if something better comes along or even same for less $

@Handy1 Just screenshot the change. As I said, worst case they would need to switch you back to your old plan. They can't claim a glitch, not honor it and then force us to stay with something we didn;t sign up for.

@Rocketman1 Promos are added to your account before renewal. If you have a screenshot showing the change was accepted, at worst, PM would switch you back to your old plan.

@kb_mv I’m tempted to try it , but sitting it’s worth the risk and even if it does work then I’m stuck on higher priced plan then I am now for now good reason I’d only save $5 for 2 years if it did work and ten be paying $20 more after 2 years . Or risk being stuck on $50 month spend and never be able to downgrade my plan after that

Hey ya I did that was on 30/30 too. It would be nice to see somewhere that the promo will be applied. The payment section still says $40 with no mention of the promo. Don't want a surprise where they don't apply it and say it was only for new customers or something

@kb_mv I did yes and it only shows such an offer on the app not website in-fact I see it shows I can get 150GB for $25 but believe this is a glitch and not correct not only does it not show the 150GB plan on website but in my account and I’m certain they will not honour 150GB for $25

OMG! They have just raised the prices on their plans page LOL. The $40 for 100 GB is now $60 for 100GB then 50% off
Edit: In my account on app it still shows thw $40/100GB with a 50% discount
