So I am confused. There is NO doubt I changed my plan (twice as the 1st time didn’t take). I seemed to be charged for the new plan but the old plan is what is displaying and saying my old plan for the upcoming bill.
should this be a concern or just an issue of catching up (it’s been two weeks).

Public Mobile has web page cache issue so you might be looking at obsolete status. Try using different browser. Try Incognito mode. Clear browser’s cache. Try forced refresh. Use computer and not phone to log in. Click on little spinner refresh icons lower down.

HI @rossputin it could be the poor cache management of the new site confused you
Clear cache, relaunch browser and relogin My Account and to see if you see the new plan
Or just Private/Incognito mode or use another browser to login My Account
