Unable to get a new eSim

I currently have an active 75 GB plan and had to switch phones (water damage) to original phone. 

I have tried getting a new eSim through the FM app, which shows only this option for purchasing a physical sim (see image below). It will show the option for the eSim when I use the browser website, but tells me to use the app... 

Can I please get some help with this?

@TRAAVER , Further to BKNS27’s reply, you can check if your phone is eSIM compatible as below: (quickly, IPhone XS and newer are, but best to check)

  • Android: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > eSIM Cards. If you see the option "Download a SIM instead?", your phone is eSIM compatible. You can also check for an "EID" in Settings > About or Status info.
  • iOS: Go to Settings > Mobile/Cellular. If you see the option "Add eSIM", your phone is eSIM compatible.

When I select Purchase SIM Card. It gave me the 2 options on the app.

What is the make and model of your phone? Is it eSIM compatible? If not, this could be the reason.

If it is compatible, contact a CS_Agent to help you with the eSIM purchase issue.
