Need help. I want to replace my sim.  I used my phone while on vacation using a service provider in the country I was visiting.  I am back but have misplaced my sim and cannot access my account as it wants to verify via text to my phone (which cannot receive the text with out the original sim).  I want to switch to another sim but can't sign onto my account do to this as it is requesting verification via text to my phone.

Please help

@UnluckyScotsman- Glad it worked. I've been wondering for a while now whether a sim card can be changed without needing support.

resetting my password allowed the login to prompt to get code via email.  I have signed on and changed my sim card.  Thanks for the assistance

@UnluckyScotsman you can also try this workarounds to unlock the email option

  1. Reset your password to self service account. Once reset, sign in again with new password. Might be able to receive 2FA via email instead to gain access.
    (!!!You will need to click Resend Code and then Send email to trigger the 2FA to email)
  2. Potential workaround (for some): If you don't have access to SMS OTP, try entering an incorrect OTP code 4 times. For some individuals, this is giving the option of an email instead.

If none of those workarounds helps,  please open ticket with support by direct message here:

@UnluckyScotsman

you can try to have the 2FA code sent to email.  Click Didn't receive code and then Send email

For sim card, get it from

@UnluckyScotsman  Once you have a new SIM card in hand ask support to sim swap the number for you then the new SIM card will get the code to log into your account .
