Is it just me or do you all have an issue sending text messages.  I’ve been with PM two days now and all my text go unsent. What should I do

Thanks ticket doesn’t work but I will keep trying 

My voice mail works as expected. Check if you phone calls correct number when pressing '1'. Try calling access number directly to confirm if it is your phone or vmail in general issue.

Texting does not work for new customers. They have to open a ticket so agent can do something on PM side in order for SMS to start working.

with  Voicemail, are you using iPhone? if you are , you might want to disable iPhone's feature Live voicemail

and the iMessage and sms problem,  if only SMS an issue, it is a PM system problem with new activation.   Voice, data both work but just SMS is the problem.  And with the SMS problem, it will affect account verification.   PM is aware of the problem and can only fix the issue one account at a time.

The voice mail feature doesn’t work I have messages but can’t get them

 

the iMessage or text feature doesn’t work I can’t send and receive messages.  

the reception to get calls in my home in Quebec is spotty 

 

anyone know how long we will need to suffer before we get decent service

@Cregdt   You can get the SMS problem fixed by customer service, if the chatbot (icon bottom right) doesn't work for you then send agents a private message using this link

An agent will reply at the envelope icon top right or tap your avatar for Messages if there's no icon.  Their hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET so you may not get a response this evening.

Hello @Cregdt 

Public Mobile is dealing with issues when it comes to SMS on Android and iMessages and FaceTime and such. There is no ETA of when it will be resolved. Here is their announcement.

We are aware that some of you are currently unable to successfully use iMessage and or FaceTime features,  and we understand how frustrating this can be. Our teams are working diligently to find the cause. 

In the meantime, please try troubleshoot steps:
Tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will continue to keep you updated.

I’ve been with PM for six days now and despite several private messages to  CS_Agent be never heard back from them.  

do they exist?

@Cregdt  Sorry, this is an issue for most new members.  It's been happening for about 2 weeks now. Message cs agents separately for them to re provision your account.
