Moren, MB Congestion.

There is a confirmed Service Outage in Morden, Manitoba at the moment with all Providers including Telus that started around 10/11AM this Afternoon. 

The Morden Corn & Apple Festival has caused major cellular Congestion on the few towers Morden runs off, causing alot of Mobile users to experience 'No Service', 'SOS' etc.

There has been no official Announcement yet, and I don't think there will be since this is an issue with everyone and not just Public Mobile/Telus.

I just wanted to let everyone know, since I see alot of Manitobans around here and I've been notified by some Friend Referrals that the service is not currently working with Public Mobile or anyone provider for that matter out in Morden today.

@MetaMorpheusMob Yeah I've seen those pop up in my hometown when there are events.

I would think too many users would still have service but wouldn't be able to connect calls or to data. Showing no service seems odd to me.

Correct, however this Congestion is causing people to have 'No Service' at all. 

I experienced Congestion very bad in Ottawa in February of 2021, it was really slow but I still had reception unlike at the Corn and Apple Festival where there is just 'No Service' at all.

But congestion and outage are different

I went to different events before and I see congestion (with different providers).  Those unusual high volume does not consider as outage and hence no provider will come out and mark it has outage

Try changing to 3G network, it helps sometime
