Is the US Roaming Talk / Text / Data Plan worth it?

My hubby and I are going to Seattle for 2 nights and I'm wondering if the US Roaming Talk / Text / Data plan is worth it or should I just get the US Talk / Text plan? Would love to stay in contact with the family as we are leaving our son with the grandparents.

I think they both have their ups and downs.

I have the US and Canada plan and have no complaints thus far.

Another option is to get a travel esim and use data only. You can use that to connect via WhatsApp, Facetime, TextNow, Fongo etc. Lots of options out there, but Ubigi has a 1GB esim plan that is good for 7 days and it's only $4 USD.

@HCorbees

Just for 2 days, I would just connect to the free wifi available at most area for calling and texting but $15 won’t break the bank if you can still use in area where wifi is not available.

Honestly @HCorbees there may be better value in doing just the talk and text. Usually there is free WiFi everywhere in the US these days. I know it's only 2 days but that would be $7.50 per day vs whatever it is in USD and the exchange rate. I'd suggest just doing one of them to save the money. Also, just make sure the phones have VoLTE on them. If so, then when you get to the US you may have to reboot when you guys get there.
