I am experiencing slower mobile data speed since I changed to 5G. This is weird is there a reason for that?

hi @KoMu what phone do you have? you don't need a 5G phone to enjoy the super speed. A 4G phone using 4G network can get speed close to 250Mbps
Try Reset all networks and try your PM sim card on another phone. Download speed test app and confirm the speed you are getting

To confirm, you have a 5G capable phone? Also, you should reboot your phone after changing and you may wish to reset your network settings. If it's still slow, you may wish to put in a ticket.
