I’ve recently visited DubaiSIMs by searching free calling services in UAE to USA. I checked that there no too much companies who are offering Roaming services in UAE (Specially for USA people)
I have a few questions regarding Public Mobile’s services:
International Roaming: How does Public Mobile handle international roaming, specifically in regions like the UAE? Are there any special plans or packages available for travellers?
Coverage: How reliable is the coverage provided by Public Mobile in Canada, especially in remote or rural areas? Does anyone have experience with its performance during travel within Canada?
Data Plans: What are the best data plans offered by Public Mobile for heavy data users? Are there any unlimited data options or packages that provide high-speed data for a reasonable price?
Customer Support: How responsive is Public Mobile’s customer support team? What are the typical response times, and is support available 24/7?
Porting Numbers: Is it easy to port an existing number to Public Mobile from another provider? Are there any potential issues or delays that I should be aware of?
I’m considering using Public Mobile as my primary service provider and would love to hear from current users about their experiences. Any insights or personal stories would be greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone! I've been researching the best SIM cards for international calling in the Middle East, and I stumbled upon publicmobile.ca. They seem to have some promising options, but I wanted to get some insights from the community here.
Has anyone tried using publicmobile.ca SIM cards for international calls in the Middle East? How was your experience in terms of call quality and rates?
Are there any specific plans or packages from publicmobile.ca that you would recommend for frequent travelers to the Middle East?
I've also heard about other SIM card providers for international travelers in the Middle East. Has anyone used any of these and can share their experiences or provide links to these alternatives?
What are the data speeds like with publicmobile.ca in the Middle East? Is it suitable for browsing and using apps while abroad?
Are there any hidden fees or unexpected charges when using publicmobile.ca SIM cards for international calls in the Middle East?

Public Mobile has no roaming outside of the US. Depending on how important is is for you to still receive your pm services you can either suspend your services for up to 89/90 days or continue your services by scheduling a change plan on next renewal to the $15 plan and call forwarding your pm phone number to a voip provider (canadian) phone number before you leave Canada. You can also forward your texts with an app like Mighty Text but your Sim card must remain in Canada in a working phone left powered on and preferably connected to a charger/outlet.
Then with the use of a local or global sim card and/or wifi you will recieve your incoming pm calls and/or texts on their associated apps. The UK has many cheap prepaid Sim cards/plans with @Luddite 's option of giffgaff being one of them. Just check their terms as most but not all still include free roaming in the Eurozone countries that would cover France as well. This Middle East would require a separate Sim card (or e-sim). The UAE among others offer a free tourist Sim card available at the airport to cover your first 24 to 72 hours in the country (validity time varies) giving you enough time to seek out a local Sim card. Without knowing where in the Middle East you are traveling to limits any further advice I can give you.

Here are the options for your pm service when traveling (All rewards references are $$ rewards and do not apply to points rewards)....
Most important mark on your calendar day 85 of your suspension and day 90. Do not forget when you must unsuspend your account via lost/stolen and/or pay and reactivate your service so you don't lose your phone number and account. If you are traveling for a longer period of time then suspend your service via lost/stolen again and repeat. Happy travels!

No, @Pamag , not on your Public Mobile service as it's not usable outside Canada & USA.
Whether or not they'll be charged to reach you will depend on what service you may decide to acquire on your travels otherwise. (i.e. a local pre-paid SIM or VoIP service)

Nobody will be able to reach you as PM does not offer service outside of this continent.
You could try viop app as TextNow

You are not able to use your PM phone and service.
If you are not staying long at each country, you may consider using one of FIDO or Koodo's easy roam options for $15 per day (you could get a very good deal from them and cancel the service later). You would be able to use your minutes and data while visiting - calls made to and from Canada will be free.

hi @Pamag your PM sim won't work there
For data access, use local prepaid data
Also, download VoIP app like TwxtNow so people can call you and you can call using the app for free

There is no Public Mobile services available in Middle East and France, Edit and UK, so you will not be able to use your public mobile number there.
Best to use a wifi app or local SIMs when you travel there @Pamag
