I am currently on the $34 plan. I want to subscribe to the $29 20gb CAN/US/MEX Data Plan but I do not see this option on the subscription page.

I think the best workaround is to go with the p-SIM option which allows you to defer the start of a new account with the $29 plan locked in.  In the meantime, start an account with a competing brand and move the existing account out and back into the new account.  Quite the slide puzzle.

The plan “ends” on January 6th. If you port out and in, waiting for new sim etc, it’ll take days

@RyanRyanRyan Yes, that's the only way to get the $29 plan and keep your number. It won't cost a lot, but it's a bit of a pain. You'll want to give the port time to complete (to Lucky) before porting back. Make sure incoming SMS and phone calls work on your number before you try to port back. You'll also need to sign up for a new Public Mobile account under a new email address.

Exactly. I can't even use up the 50 gb of data. I just want a cheaper plan.

So Switch to lucky mobile and then subscribe back to public as a new account?

Me too @RyanRyanRyan .. I have the same plan as you and I want to downgrade to 20gb but still get Canada-USA. I don’t care Mexico coverage but USA is worthwhile for me.

I haven’t heard back from PM either

No go unfortunately. A workaround is to port out to another provider and then port back as a new customer. Lucky Mobile offers free esims and plans starting from $15, so you could consider that.

@RyanRyanRyan

Most customers above the $30 price point will not see the $29 promo plan unfortunately.  PM is offering existing customers personalized plan offers which are usually more expensive than their present plan point.

You could try to contact customer service agent, but it looks like most existing customers have been declined by CSAs.  CSAs are really reluctant to lower the plan price for existing customers.
