How to activate Esim outside Canada?

Currently I am travelling in Mexico so I purchase an esim, unfortunately my iPhone just show "activating..." 

What can I do?

That's right, but not all companies accept 2FA verification 😞

it is always a challenge to get 2FA code when aboard.  You will have to call the bank (or wherever you are having difficulty with the 2FA code) and ask them if they have any alternate ways to receive the 2FA code, maybe email, voice calls, or Authenticator app

your PM services will not work in Mexico. You could download a free voip app such as TextNow which uses your wifi or separately purchased data. Alternative is to go to OXXO or KIOSKO and get a Telcel chip and a 30 day talk/text/3Gb data plan for around $20 Cdn You'll be able to call most any US or CDN number from Mexico and when you get back home...it still works if you have any of the 30 days remaining.
