I have an iPhone SE and when I clicked “set up a personal hotspot” it tells me to contact public mobile.
How do I set up a hotspot?

@PattyCake17 I've noticed a couple of other people post about that pop-up this week. I don't know if the problem was resolved but best to contact customer service via the link @Handy1 gave . It did not seem to be the same as the more widespread hotspot issue last weekend. I was affected by that but never got the pop-up about contacting the carrier. The other device would connect to the hotspot but just not load anything.

@PattyCake17 , have you used hotspot before? I will check mine & see if it’s still working. I got my instructions for my iPhone from Apple How to set up a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone
Edit: Mine’s working. On my iPhone I turned data on, turned hotspot on, turned Bluetooth on & paired it through Bluetooth to my iPad (with iPad Bluetooth turned on) which I am replying from right now.
