Just out of curiosity, is it at all possible to use a public mobile e-sim on my main phone, then the physical sim tied to the same account in a second phone at the same time. If messages and calls are shared thats fine by me.
Context: For work I conisitantly need to hotspot a device for setup/diagnosis in areas without existing internet and this requires me to have a hotspot on quite regularly, however on occasion I may get pulled away from the hot spotted device where my phone's hotspot no longer reaches, and would like to use a second phone to fill this roll, however it isn't worth it for me to get a second plan setup for that device as some months it may go unused, but at a moments notice it will be in heavy use for a week or so.
Thanks

not possible. One sim card only. Another sim card or esim setup , the earlier one will be "dead"

no you cannot. Only one sim, physical or esim, linked to a phone number/account at any time.

@Blackbeard25 No you can’t use two different sims for one account on two different phones or even the same phone . Each sim is its own different account
