You can use Forgot Password and try with any email you have.  once a correct one enter, you will need to answer the security question to reset the password.

 

If you still unable to get the correct username/email used , then you need to open a ticket with PM using chatbot and they will sort it out for you

 

open a ticket with PM Support click on the Bubble or directly at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.   Follow this to get to ticket open screen quicker:

 

  1. type: Forgot log in information
  2. Click "Contact Us"
  3. Click "Click here to submit a ticket"
  4. you will then direct to another page to open ticket.

 

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

Please note that this question was answered nearly 3 months ago.  The self serve username is actually the e-mail address used and provided to Public Mobile by the customer.   Also, when getting a moderator to change the e-mail address used for the self serve account, moderators do not e-mail you. Public Mobile doesn't provide support via e-mail.

If you forgotten username which by the way will not be your email address which you will not be able to use either way you MUST get a email from from Public Mobile they will address you as your username such as Hi “John” or what ever name you used when signing up.

Hi @Abhayaggarwal 

On your self serve account, your username is the email address you provided during activation.  Why do you say the email address on your profile is wrong?  If you cannot log in your self serve account, how did you find out the the email address on your profile is wrong?

 

Did you activate in-store or online?  If in-store in your 4-digit pin# was texted to you.  If you activated online, you created your own pin#.  Your pin# is required to verify your account.

I would recommend contacting a Public Mobile moderator for assistance as it's not entirely clear whether you forgot or may have mis-typed your e-mail address upon activation.

 

They'll need to go through a verification process of some sort to allow you the access you're seeking.

 

To contact a moderator, there are 2 methods: (you may need to utilize option#2, however try option #1 first)

 

  1. Use the ticketing system for a faster response time. Click here and type moderator assistance, then select account-related issue, then select you need a human now.  Follow the prompts to submit a ticket,  or, 
  2. Send a private message to the moderator by clicking here  You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.

 

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

I assume you are talking about access to your account and not the Community. 

Your "forgot" username has to be one of your email addresses.

So you need to try the "forgot" password for every email address you have. 

But you say the email address you used for your username is wrong???

Ah...this is a train wreck!!!

Hopefully you "remember" more details about your account to confirm your identity and to correct your access to your My Account. 

Do you know the address you used, name you used, pin # etc?

You will need to contact a MOD and have anything you do know for sure to have it corrected.

If you activated the PM SIM with a Flash Sale promo. There will be an email from PM to activate your SIM before a specific date along with your email address (Username).

You can also contact a PM moderator on the SIMon chat bubble and ask for a moderator.

Once you found that email, you've located the email address that is your self serve public mobile username. 

 

 

To change your community email address, click under your avatar in the top right corner while logged into the community, go to my settings, and you can change it there.

Is there any chance you created your community account using the same email? Or you can put public mobile in the search bar of all the possible emails you use to see if any pm emails that get sent out on occasion show up....telus emails would also be a clue that it is the right email address (especially the health and covid-19 ones from telus....look at the bottom of the email in the small print for it to say you are recieving this email because you signed up to recieve them from public mobile.)

You could try the forgot password option by entering possible addresses that you may have used. Otherwise, you'll have to ask the moderators to change the e-mail address used for self serve and/or reset the password.  Proceed by going to:  https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
