hi @porcupine Both your phones are VoLTE whitelisted.  Push agent to refresh your account on the system or you can try a new sim card

and the drop calls after long talk, like at least half an hour?

I have tried 3 g tried an agent it has been going on for almost 2 years. I have a Samsung s24 still drooping calls. Had a Samsung s22 and dropped calls from that one also was told it was my phone. It's Public Mobile

hi @porcupine which area and what phone you have?  Wonder if it is a VoLTE problem or 3G

did you try 3G network?

if the dropped calls was a bigger problems in the past 2 days and you are in Vancouver area, it could be related with the VoLTE/5G trouble PM having,

Well, there is nothing more I can do to help or suggest except to keep an eye on your mailbox in the top right corner of the page for messages from PM on resolving any issues.

Hey @Handy1 Here's the weird thing. I myself haven't had any dropped calls on Public Mobile myself. However, 2 of my referrals who happen to be close friends are experiencing dropped calls. One has an average of 3 dropped calls a day. She's ready to leave Public Mobile now along with her husband which leaves me two referrals gone thanks to Public Mobile not fixing the issue.

@porcupine The only real thing you can do here is to create a ticket, get "help" and if that doesn't work, request a monthly credit to your account to make up for the dropped calls. Tell them you wish to be compensated because they haven't provided a proper working service.

I am experiencing the same issue.

If I call for less than 20 minutes no issue.

If a call goes past around 20 minutes I know I'll get disconnected at some point.  Doesn't help when trying to call customer service of any company and get stuck waiting in a queue.

@porcupine   And switching phone to 3G doesn’t work either . PM claims to have fixed it already monthes ago , but as we all know that’s not the case . I often think it has to do with priority and network congestion, PM being tier  3 it’s gets the short end of the stick . Many will say this is not true .so who knows but it’s definitely annoying and I don’t think PM even believes  there is a issue

Is the problem only a VoLTE?  Is your phone capable of VoLTE?  Soooner or later, you'll need to move away from relying on the 3g network.

I am having this issue so frequently and thinking to switch. Before leaving I want to send them ticket so they can take a look

hi @porcupine maybe a network problem.

for testing, maybe try changing the network mode to 3G only and test the voice calls for a day or two

@porcupine  Yes it’s quite often here in the maritimes , but also nothing new either been like that for as long as I can remember. I often believe it has to do with network congestion and priority . Other will say that’s not the case so I don’t know , but I don’t encounter this level of dropped calls on Telus and it’s the same network . So who knows but not so long ago it was acknowledged by PM and they apparently have fixed that issue . But I don’t think it’s 100% fixed either way . Can try 3G too see if that helps any when in rural areas

try Reset all networks on the phone first

maybe try the sim on another phone as well
