Great! Thanks for the valuable advice.

It's a logical assumption, and one that many folks make, @yullub

Postpaid services will pro-rate package changes from the date of the change, however pre-paid carriers will not.  The only real 'advantage' for choosing to change a plan early is if a user needs an extra data allotment and they are relatively close to their next renewal date.

Otherwise, since you are moving to a lower data and minute limited plan, it's best to wait for the renewal.

Consider supplementing your outgoing calling limit with a VoIP provider like Fongo so you can make calls within Wi-fi zones and not be concerned about using your minutes.

Thanks! It’s clear now, I was wondering if they will prorate the fee, now i know the answer.

The choice is really yours.

Just keep in mind you'll be forfeiting what's remaining for services on the $25.00 plan if you schedule a plan change NOW, vs on the next renewal.

And since this is a pre-paid carrier, there are no refunds for unused services.

@yullub Yes, choose Renew plan on due date so it automatically changes during the next renewal. Once you do that, you will see the change for your review.

@yullub

It is usually best to change plans at next renewal date.  PM does not prorate plans.  If you change plans now, you will be charged right away the full price of plan $15 and lose whatever is remaining in your original $25 plan.

@yullub  Schedule a plan change ON NEXT RENEWAL!

If you choose now you will get charged right away and will not get any prorated $s back from the plan you already paid.

EDIT: so to answer your question: click the “renew plan on due date” = YES.
