Hi there,
I am wondering why I am having troubles with data. It is not working. I tried all methods such as, restarting phone, taking SIM out and putting it back in, resetting network settings. It's possible that I am updated to IOS 15.4, but why would software be an issue? Still no luck. Anyone got a solution?

I did delete it, but that was a few days ago.

I used the link from apple's site I am quite positive. It brought up the profile in my phone after.

I am no iOS expert:)
how did you install the Beta? If it is not via download on Computer and load it that way, then removing Beta profile method should be good enough
From what I understand, once you deleted the Beta profile (you have done yet?) , Apple will aware you opt out from the beta version and will push down the stable version with a notification saying new OS available.
Most users with this problem I talked to went through this path no issue except one user .. that user removed the beta profile but don't see the new stable OS coming down.

Can i find a ios 15.3 profile online to download it again?

@Kayla691 Same OS 15.4 beta? If so, for now the fix is to downgrade the os back to 15.3 or 15.2.1 . Many users have to go this route at the moment

@Anonymous Ok. If by chance has @rickersilken done a backup? Restore from a backup a lower iOS and go to 15,3 as an upgrade.
BTW. How does one download the beta? I have done a downgrade....was no big deal to do. Just sometimes that can mean some of your apps might have to be up/down graded. I would suggest a full backup before down grading just to CYA.

I’m having the same issue it keeps switching to Telus network constantly

@CountyDownIeUk : This is a known problem with the 15.4 beta. Not 15.3 as you have.

This is drastic. Back up phone to iTunes, do a full reset on phone, set up to the point of seeing if cellular works, if it does then restore phone. If after the restore is done and it does not work.....it is settings causing the issue.
What iPhone do you have?

What does a hard reboot do?
02-03-2022 09:11 PM
@rickersilken : That was the other guy. I'm not an Apple guy. He is.
02-03-2022 09:10 PM
WHat would a hard reboot do?
02-03-2022 09:10 PM
Just upgraded tp 15.3. My test worked with wifi off and cellular on. I have no idea how to get 15.4...my iPhone says....
02-03-2022 09:07 PM
Yes. I just tried that. No luck.

@CountyDownIeUk : 15.4 beta? Cellular data not wifi?

@rickersilken Did you already tried Reset Network Settings? It solves the problem with some Rogers users back then with 15.3 beta
We were wondering if changing an APN settings would work but iOS restrict people from changing if
So, if Network reset didn't work, downgrade is the only option for now
02-03-2022 09:05 PM
Can you try a hard reboot?
02-03-2022 09:03 PM
So what do you suggest? Is restoring my phone the best option at this point?
02-03-2022 09:01 PM
I upgraded yesterday...iPhone 8 plus....works on cellular.

@rickersilken wrote:What about changing plans? Would that do anything do you think?
You meant changing plans with PM? No, it is a network connection issue, changing plans would not work.
Changing providers might help. But as I said, Some Rogers customers have issue with 15.3 beta, so, you will never know which beta version will affect what.
Honest, if you want to be save, stay away from the Beta program. Only upgrade with staple versions

Looks like it could help but I am just not wanting to have to restore my phone. 😞

@rickersilken : The link I gave you earlier came from a resident expert on all things Apple. It wasn't targeted for this purpose, but the information appears as though it would do something. Or at least see what the settings are set at.

What about changing plans? Would that do anything do you think?

@rickersilken wrote:If I was to wait for the next update to come, would it fix the data issue? Or could I change my current data plan?
Possible , some Rogers users have similar issue with 15.3 Beta and I think they have no issue with 15.4 Beta. However, you don't know when Apple will come out with the next OS update, so I won't bet on it or wait.
02-03-2022 08:46 PM
for now downgrade is not be risk but you need to make a
icloud backup for anything happen you will be have backup.
02-03-2022 08:45 PM
Yep. I tried that. Didn't do anything. I deleted profile, currently no profile installed now.

If I was to wait for the next update to come, would it fix the data issue? Or could I change my current data plan?

@rickersilken wrote:I will try downgrading for now. But its risky. I am not confident with how reliable downgrades are.
Couple customers downgraded and they didn't complain, so, it should be ok.
So, are you downgrading by delete the Beta profile and wait for the notification comes and say a new OS arrived? How long you waited for the message after the Beta profile was deleted?
Let us know how it turns out
02-03-2022 08:41 PM
@rickersilken : Well you took the risk with a beta 🙂 The link I gave you could also be risky. And we don't know if it will fix the issue.
I know on my Android where we CAN change these things (stupid Apple 🙂 ), when I change to IPv6 the internet doesn't work. Change it back to IPv4 and it works again. I had read somewhere that the beta set that to IPv6. But of course Apple likes to keep these things hidden under the hood from their customers.
