Credit card shows "Public Pay Parking" not Public Mobile - What is happening

I noticed charges on my CC showing as Public Pay Parking for the same amount and the date when PM takes money out of my CC.

Anyone else seeing Public Pay Parking instead of public mobile on their card or is my card hacked or something ?

This just showed up on my credit card for the first time too.  I called my CC company and they confirmed with me that it's the same company.    But when I look back at old online statements it shows up Public Pay Parking , all the way back to Oct 2023 and I had never seen it, until now.  Yet when I go online and look at statements now it shows up.   It's wierd and odd.   MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OVER YOUR STATEMENTS because I have seen a couple times I've been charged twice but didn't catch it because I have 4 accounts I pay for.    But now that I've been going over each transaction, some of them are a bit odd.

no hacked and no worries. 

People brought this up and this has ben categorized wrong for years!!  So, you did pay to the correct vendor just,the credit card categorizes wrong, thinking Mobile = Card and put it wrong

Many tried to reached out to PM agent and ask them to ask credit card to correct it, but no change still

Ignore how it says parking garage.  Public Mobile has been miscategorized by some payment processors.  This will have no effect on your payments.
