The Community Reward
How does it work?
Based on your level of involvement with our Community, you can earn up to $20 every 30 days. The amount you are rewarded depends on your contribution level relative to overall contribution, which can change month to month even if you contribute very consistently. You can only ever qualify for one (1) Community Reward in a 30-day period, and you must act in accordance with Community Terms of Service at all times. You can read our Community Terms of Service here.
The following table shows how Community Rewards are allocated:
Who Can Earn Rewards?
To be eligible to earn Rewards, you must have:
1. A Rewards-eligible plan:
2. An active account:
Considerations for Rewards-ineligible Customers
Customers who are on a Legacy / Pioneer or 10-day plan not eligible for Rewards. If you are a Legacy / Pioneer customer and switch to a Rewards-eligible plan, please note:
How many Rewards can I earn?
You can earn up to your current plan value in Rewards, reducing it to $0. Once you reach the value of your plan, you will not be able to accumulate any further Rewards in that plan period, and you will not be able to save Rewards and apply them to future months.
Here’s an example of how you could get your plan down to $0:
You will earn $5 in Loyalty Rewards + $2 in AutoPay Rewards + $2 Community Rewards + 36 referrals at $1/30 days. That’s $45 in total Rewards, and a sweet $0 plan!
When are Rewards applied to my account?
Here are some things you should keep in mind about our Rewards program:
How do I know when I've earned Rewards?
Whenever a reward has been successfully applied to your account, we will send you a text message to let you know. To check the Rewards you’ve earned, log in to Self-Serve and check the ‘My Rewards’ section in the Overview Tab. You can also select the ‘My Rewards’ button and see all the Rewards you’ve earned since joining Public Mobile.
Below is an example of what you would see from the Overview tab, for a customer who has been with Public less than 1 year, and has no referrals:
Below is an example of what the ‘My Rewards’ section looks like, for the same account:

@mikga if on 90 day plan, you get 3 chances at community reward
They do NOT have to be same
It depends on which badge you earn each month

It means that your received a total of $2 during the current 90 day period. You may have received $1 for 2 different months, or you may have received the $2 for one individual month. Community rewards are rewarded monthly based on community participation. You do not get set amount every 90 days. Members must earn any reward each and every month.

I recently saw $2 community reward on my account. I'm on 90 day plan. Does it mean that I only get $2 every 90 days? Can anyone tell me?
Thanks!

According to their rewards description:
http://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Rewards/Community-Reward/m-p/415#M5
I believe the community rewards resets to zero for your personal account. So for example, if you're on a 90 day plan, the rewards program will determine your activity based on the past 3 months.
They base this off a "Community Rank" in a couple catagories, Top 25%, 50%, as an example). Using the table they provided, you'll get scored per month, and given the relative monthly reward tagged on your next reoccuring bill cycle.
Hope that helps!

@micro-g - just wanted to clarify, do you mean you were billed for the 2nd round of payments (assuming you're on the 90 day plan)?
The way i understand how public mobile works, is you pay in advance, ie. if you're on the 90 day plan you'd be paying on day 1 of 90 for full amount and reoccuring after every 90 days.
If you have a rewards credit, in the rewards tab they have an rough calculation of what you're next payment will look like incl. a deducted credit amount (if you have one).
Double check that tab to see if the rewards is still there?

@canucks4life depends when your renewal is
Community rewards always added about same time
So it is possible to populate very close to bill date

Does anyone know after 90-day plan renews and community rewards resets zero does accumulation start right away or not until first of next month?

Hi there @zmawani!
I took a look at your account and I can confirm that your Community and AutoPay rewards were applied to your account today before your automatic payment went through. The Community reward is applied right before a payment goes through, and it's applied to your account on the following billing cycle after you earned them.
Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions 🙂

To be perfectly honest, I did not read through this post so I don't know if this has already been answered.
I have checked on my account as my auto-pay went through a few days ago for the first time. I had earned some community reward dollars during the previous cycle however, my auto-pay did not take into account this reward. I looked at the icon that shows the total rewards I have accumulated and it shows rewards under both auto-pay as well as the community rewards. The auto-pay rewards were deducted from the total amount owing, but the community rewards were not.
Looking at my rewards/amount I will be paying on my future cycle, the auto-pay rewards again shows up, but does not account for the community rewards.
Not sure if it is supposed to apply to the past or future payment... Not really sure what is going on...

It's been a bit since you posted this question, but for a circumstance like that I would contact pm on facebook or email customer support so they could look at your account manually and see what happened.

Man this community just keeps on answering my questions before I even think about them. All you need is just read, and that's it. I love it so far

@Leda, I do not feel I'm in total darkness.
I knew coming in what support would be like, and in experience, I don't need telephone support, nor immediate. This forum concept works for me, and when there is no propmo, or backlog because of the promo, it works very well.
NORMAL times are maximum 2 days resolved.
It will return. I know it.

Wow, good information, thank you. Everyone here want to help but not the PM. I can't believe that...what kind of serious company doese that...leaves the customers in total darkness.

@Leda community badges are technically separate from you actual account. The community (where we are now) and the self-serve system (selfserve.publicmobile.ca) are separate systems, so the community has no idea if your PM account is active or suspended. Thus, you can still earn badges.

And how is possible to still get rewarded (I got 3 badges), when on my account it sais suspended account due to insuficient funds (so wouldn't be a good standing account as is required for rewards to be earn)...although the payment was cleared and taken out of my credit card with no problem...
12-15-2016 02:02 PM
@vgdam if you look at pending rewards it shows how much you have earned. This amount is deducted from your next renewal

I got the top 25% badge last week but i havent received any rewards from it. Anyone know how this works?
