I am trying to activate a phone for my wife with Public mobility and I am getting error code 837.

please check bank credit card info to make sure you haven't already been charged for the new account.

Check your credit card to see if the plan amount has been charged. Are you trying to port in a phone number?

@Mallie first, DO NOT attempt to activate again .. UNTIL you check with your credit card
Confirm PM has NOT charge you yet before you proceed to try activating again
And did you request porting? did you provide IMEI number instead of account number from the old provider? I suggest you to try to use account number and that could avoid this error
Again,do not try activation again until you confirmed that PM has not charged you earlier in your first attempt
