I have a few more questions:
1) Apparently PMobile does not yet have WiFi calling, which is very useful in low/poor cell signal areas, although I believe Telus has WiFi calling available in Canada, which is cut off at the Can/US border when travelling South. I am currently with Rogers/Fido (Canada wide calling/International texting/60GB) which has WiFi calling from outside of Canada and works very well in Mexico for calling/texting to/from Canada and international texting, without activating international roaming.
Do anyone know if/when PMobile will add WiFi calling to the Can/US/Mex $35/50GB plan?
2) Is roaming available (if necessary) with the Can/US/Mex $35/50GB plan for international travel?
3) Are the standard calling features available with this plan?
1. call display
2. voicemail
3. call waiting
4. conference calling
5. data overage protection
Thank you.

"And in general the point of Wi-Fi calling is to provide service in what is otherwise a low service area, but it's not necessarily intended to circumvent roaming charges."
Besides being very useful in low or no signal areas, I consider Wi-Fi calling to be exceptional customer service since it helps to keep the customer connected to the subscribed calling area only through the internet, without the customer having to be in the calling area. If a customer places a call to outside of the included calling area, long distance charges are invoked, and if a customer wants to use local cell towers outside of the designated call area, then roaming charges are incurred.

1: yes 2: yes 3: yes 4: yes
5: no, not on the roaming plans
There are no plans for Wi-Fi calling at Public Mobile that any of us are aware of. Even if Wi-Fi calling ever did come, it will likely match the Telus structure whereby it only works in Canada. And in general the point of Wi-Fi calling is to provide service in what is otherwise a low service area, but it's not necessarily intended to circumvent roaming charges.
No roaming at all outside of Canada, the US, and Mexico.

Unfotunately, PM does not plan to offer WiFi calling anytime soon. It has been asked before, but we haven't heard any promising news. Roaming will be available for free of charge on the CA/US/MEX plan including Data, Calling and Texting. Yes, some of the features you listed are available, but not all. PM does not offer call waiting, conference calling. Data overage protection is not needed since it is a prepaid service and your data will stop working once you run out.
Public Mobile does offer both call waiting and conference calling and has for as long as I can remember. Did something change when VoLTE was introduced?

@RB54 If you tap on the plan it shows at the top right that it includes
If you have a newer iPhone then Apple's Live Voicemail is also available.

There is no roaming service whatsoever outside of Canada, Mexico and the US.

Call waiting seemed to work for me the other day.
