Can’t send texts now? Wtf?.

So just today I was trying to send a text and it wouldn’t go threw.

restarted my phone (iPhone) and still wouldn’t send. Made a call and that was fine. 

Switched to my Nexus and same thing. Text won’t send, but calls work. Wtf??

checked my account and everything is fine. 

 

So 1 month in and problems already. This is not good.

Although you might've left PM by now, in case you haven't:

 

  1. Are ALL your outgoing texts not sending or just to certain numbers?
  2. Are you able to receive texts?
  3. You mentioned you have an iPhone - any chance this could be due to your number still being registered to a device that you previously used with iMessage? I've never used an iPhone so I don't really have any details on that though, just seems like a potential issue.

well the problem was "fixed" yesterday night.

And now here we are, not even 24 **bleep**ing hours later and the problem is back!!

Cant send texts/sms again.

This is a **bleep**ing joke!!! Im starting to see why they offer 90day plans, so they can **bleep** you with service that doesnt work.

 

When I was with Wind/Freedom I NEVER had this problem.

Everything was checked on both sides and verified. 

They “reset” my sim and said to try it, i did, still can’t send texts. 

Replied with the results and still haven’t heard back.

Did you check your self serve? it is weird that you can only make calls and not make any text. @Mary_M Please message her with your information

3 hours later and a whole 2 pm’s and still nothing.

Definitely sounds like a system issue with your account. You'll need the help of a moderator to get your account sorted out.

Send a private message to @CS_Agent, include your following info:
- account number
- phone number
- a brief description of what has happened

…and they will be able to look into it for you.

Things to do:

1. Settings >> Messages >> iMessage ON, Send as SMS ON, MMS ON >> Send & Receive: should show your PM phone number AND your iCloud email address.
2. check for a carrier update: Settings >> General >> About: accept an update if offered.

 

No joy: ask the moderators for assistance by clicking this: message to moderators to send a private message to the moderator team with your phone number and an explanation.
