I'm going out of the country for a month. To receive missed calls and texts when I turn my phone back on, should I keep my subscription active rather than pausing it? I assume that if you pause your phone service, you won't receive or save any of those messages?

true @abtest , even OP pays and continues subscription, text only held and retry for 5 days and no more. And OP won't be able to check text when overseas

@Sueyeon- I am not sure, but I don't think that SMS messages will be held for a month - and get delivered later. Perhaps someone else can confirm.

you are correct that you won't receive those messages when you suspend the account

Hey @Sueyeon It really depends how much you pay and if you can afford to waste the money. You could turn off autopay if you wanted but you won't get those "missed calls" or "texts" that come in. You'd be best to let it play out if you want to get those.
Here's another option though. IF you're are going overseas and it's an iPhone, iMessages will still work if you have a data plan out there. Here's an option. https://www.airalo.com/
EDIT: Just be careful NOT to lose your phone and or SIM card out there.
