Hi, I have a Canda plan with unlimited international text and picture messaging. We are in Canada currently, and the US recipient receives our text messages, but we DO NOT receive any messages from them, both when they are in canada and US.
Data roaming is on. Is there something we are missing? Please help.

if it is iMessage and you didn't receive from them, it sounds like iMessage problem
but take the quick way and ask PM to check. Tell them you have text issue and ask them to refresh your account.
Simply open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA code when login, use email to receive code instead of SMS if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) When open Chatbot ticket, Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

No we've been on the PM network for awhile now. Confirmed both iphones are sending via imessage. She is receiving our messages coming through as imessage. Nothing coming through to us when she texts.

did you just port in your number? If you just ported in, it could take up to a week for all the text to work right.
and you said you are using iPhone? can you confirm if they really sending you via iMessage or SMS? ask them to check what colour is with the text bubbles

They are able to message the rest of of us on Telus network with no issue to I'm sure they have international

I believe they do , and have no issue sending messages to other phone on Telus network.
Also on imessaging, which you would think would go through via wifi or data, but still no message are coming back to us from the US phone number

It doesn't sound like it's on your end. It more or less sounds like they can't text to Canada. Am I to assume both are using Android or one is using Android and the other is iMessages?

if you cannot receive text only from your US friend, it is a problem on their end and not PM's
make sure your friend use the correct phone number pattern 1 ### #### #### and if that does not work, ask them to check with their carrier in US
and for you, make sure you didn't block their number. You can also try to clear cache of your messaging app if you are using Android. But honest, it is not a problem on your device and not an PM's issue
