Hello,

Everytime I dial the number, I get “the customer not available, please try again later.” I have full network on the phone but still can’t receive calls.

can you please help?

Is your old account still alive? Maybe inactive by now but still alive? It needs to be active and then you can use the change number function in the account to re-transfer the number. You'll need the old sim in a phone to confirm the transfer.

Found the problem. The port wasn’t successful and a temporary number was assigned. How do I change the number?

Hi, I can make outgoing calls without a problem and the data works as well.

Do no disturb on the receiver's phone wouldn't make the caller hear a number not in service message.  Do not disturb mode only silences the ringer, and on some phones (software dependent), the receiver could actually still answer the call if they were looking at the screen/using the device while the call came in).

So you're trying to call your number from another phone (or voip) and it comes back with that message? Is this from another Telus/Koodo/Public phone? Or all providers/landlines? Can you check your call forwarding options in the dialer? Maybe you're forwarded to a number that is not on or out of reach. Adding - it doesn't ring

Is account status active?

Is text and data working?

You could try a network reset of phone also.

Might also want to try your SIM card in another working phone. Helps determine whether hardware issue versus PM service problem.

@Sdhatt ok, so, you were receiving incoming calls before?  if so, then it is really not a porting problem

can you make outgoing calls with your cellular now?

try to change your Preferred network type to 3G Only and see if it connects and and if you can make outgoing calls and receive incoming.  This can confirm if there is a 3G network issue in your area, which your voice calls need

@Sdhatt did you try rebooting your phone?

also, did you just join and requested porting?  If so, the porting might not have completed yet.  Did you reply YES to a text from your old provider within 90 minutes?
