Can't make paymennt with Valid Visa Debit

This is incredible that I've somehow come to forums to resolve this?  My visa debit payments are getting rejected as if e card is invalid, but it is not.  This is like a resolve now or loose a loyal customer in an hour situation.

I'm curious because I've also experienced this with my credit(debit) card, but not with Public Mobile's site. Some websites don't accept some cards (for example, some sites don't accept Visa debit, but they do accept Mastercard debit. 

 

Not knowing whether you've used this debit card before on this site makes it harder to understand for sure, but being that you mentioned you are a loyal customer, I imagine that it's not a new card for you to be using on the site. 

@pissed_off_5  I can really feel how upset you are by just looking at your screen name ..  🙂

 

but honest.. Visa Debit is not the best invention ever.. i find it trouble in use in many situations.. not just PM.  Good Luck

While I understand your frustration, just an FYI that posting on this forum is with other PM Customers, just like you. 

 

I might recommend reserving comments like, "This is like a resolve now or loose a loyal customer in an hour situation" for when you're dealing with Public Mobile employees. 

 

Make sure THEY understand your well-found frustrations.

Both the Activation pages and SELF SERVE site can be finicky. 

Try:

  • clearing your browser's cache
  • open a tab in incognito mode
  • If this is something happening during the activation process you will likely need to wait 50 minutes to try again. 

    You could try this link to use the: Public Mobile Online Activation Assistance

  • if you are already activated anda current customer trying to add this credit card through your SELF SERVE account, try removing the card that is there already completely, then adding the new one.

IF issues still persist (and this is not an activation you are trying to do) contact the moderators to help.

 @pissed_off_5 : If you're coming up on your renewal then buy a voucher online or in store and get that covered. Then take the time to fiddle with the payment card.

Alright, are you already a PM customer with working services? Or are you speaking about entering this through the activation pages?
