Can’t hear calls and they can’t hear me

Just set up my SIM card today.

texing is working perfectly however when I call, the call goes through but they can’t hear me and I can’t hear them. Also, on my iPhone the speaker option is blacked out so I can’t use speaker phone. Also having issues with FaceTime. I have the 15$ plan.

tried the SIM card in my partners phone and everything seems to work on his phone. Any ideas?

Did you try with an airport or Bluetooth headphones or headphones on old iPhones with a jack?

Certainly sounds like the speakers have had it but use headphones for now.

yes, this confirm the problem is with your phone and not a problem with  PM or your sim

since it works on your partner's phone, it is a problem with your device, could be a speaker problem

But don't give up, start with running on iOS update, make sure it is the latest one.  If that does no help, I suggest you to try Reset your phone to factory default and setup the phone again

it looks to me it is a device problem since you said your iPhone speaker option is not there.  Try to reboot the phone
