Can a number be ported to an existing PM account?

A couple of months ago I setup a PM account to first tryout before I port my number from another provider.  So far I’m basically happy with my PM plan other than the fact that there is no provision to select a lower priced plan. 
Is it still possible to port a number to my account that is on its 3rd month and if yes how can it be done?

@Wayworn  as long as your number can be ported and your other account is active it should work.

Just select transfer phone number under your account profile. 

Wait for the text and reply.

Hi @Wayworn, yes, if you go into the PM app and navigate to the "Account" tab, scroll down to see "Transfer Phone Number", that where you can request it. Have the account number from the old carrier handy and if the process asks for your IMEI number do no use it as it seems to cause more issues in the porting

yes, you can port your number

Just login My Account, go to Profile Page, click Transfer Phone number, enter the account number of your old service provider

And a reminder , the account on the old must be active still to port
